Breastfeeding Support in Laval

What is breastfeeding support?

Feeding your baby is one of the most personal decisions you’ll make in the early days of parenthood. For some families, breastfeeding comes easily. For others, it can bring unexpected questions, challenges, or pressure.

Our breastfeeding support services provide personalized guidance to help you make informed decisions about how you feed your baby, whether that means breastfeeding, combination feeding, or bottle feeding.

During these consultations, our registered nurse works with you to understand your goals, answer your questions, and address any challenges you may be experiencing. The focus is not on pushing a specific approach, but on helping you find a feeding plan that feels sustainable, comfortable, and aligned with your family’s needs.

Our goal is simple: to give you the knowledge, support, and reassurance you need to feel confident in your feeding choices.

What makes our breastfeeding support different

In Montreal and Laval, many families have access to public breastfeeding resources that provide valuable support, especially in the early postpartum period. Our approach is designed to complement these services by offering private, one-on-one consultations that allow for more time and a more in-depth focus on your specific situation, with appointments available quickly when you need support.

These sessions create space for you to ask questions, explore your experience in detail, and receive guidance that is truly tailored to you and your baby. The one-on-one format allows us to go further, at your own pace, with support that adapts to your reality.

We also prioritize continuity of care: you are followed by the same provider, who gets to know you and your journey. All of this takes place in a respectful, non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable bringing forward any concerns or questions.

As part of a women’s health clinic, this approach also integrates postpartum recovery and physical comfort, supporting both your well-being and your baby’s needs.

SEE WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I cannot thank you enough for all of the support in helping me prepare for the c-section and all of the symptoms/adjustments required to remain active over the last 9+ months!

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Yara's support and expertise made such a difference during a time that can feel quite overwhelming. Thanks to her, I’m rebuilding my core strength and returning to exercise with much more confidence. Honestly, I wish I had worked with her during pregnancy, too. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for expert, compassionate care.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

My last run before mud girl was 8km! I’m really amazed with this! I appreciate it so much that I can run to my car because it’s raining, chase the kids around and play tennis with my daughter. So many things that I thought I would never get to do without unfortunate leaks. It’s the perfect reason to just jump of excitement!

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I can't recommend Yara's services highly enough - both for pregnancy and postpartum care. Her exercises and the modifications she made to my training plan allowed me to maintain a good level of activity at the gym and be more comfortable carrying out my tasks at work. Thank you Yara!

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

This was one of the best investments I have ever made for my health and well-being. Yara Jabre is a phenomenal physiotherapist. She helped me achieve in a few sessions what years of urologist appointments and medication never could. I am very grateful for the attention I received. My body has healed and my mind has been free!
